The Gathering Inn is an outreach to the homeless in south Placer County that offers hope and dignity through basic services and fellowship. DONATE TO CAMBODIA MISSION TRIP HOUSE BUILDS
Our Cambodia mission trip leaders and Agape International Missions (AIM) are working together to prevent human trafficking, as well as rescue, restore and reintegrate trafficking victims. In addition to the raising the support needed for their stay on their upcoming mission trip, the team needs to raise $11,900 to build the two homes. If you are able to give above and beyond your normal tithe and would like to support the team’s house building project, you may donate here. If you missed them in the lobby or at the info meeting, the trip leaders would be happy to connect with you directly to answer any questions you may have.
NOW THROUGH SUNDAY, NOV. 26
When children and teens are removed from their homes without warning, they often arrive at the foster agency with what little they have in a trash bag. Much of their clothing doesn’t fit or keep them warm enough, especially in the winter. That’s why Creekside and Koinonia Family Services are inviting you to help these kids feel seen and loved this holiday season! Here’s how:
BUY A NEW SMALL DUFFLE BAG AND FILL IT WITH:
· 1 new winter jacket
· 1 new package of socks
· 1 new pair of warm pajamas
for teen boys, sweat suits are recommended
· NOTE: PLEASE AVOID SOLID RED OR BLUE
LABEL YOUR BAG BY GENDER AND SIZE
· boy or girl
· kids XS-XL or juniors XS-XL (all sizes needed!)
DROP IT OFF AT CREEKSIDE BY SUNDAY, NOV. 26
Koinonia Family Services, a local foster care and adoption agency, will distribute the bags to kids as they are welcomed through their doors.
