In 2010, Creekside raised the funds to build a home for children in Bangladesh who have either been orphaned or whose have family members are unable to care for them. Our initial goal was to sponsor all 35 kids who would one day live there and to build a meaningful partnership with the missionaries living there. Since then, God has enabled us to not only build more houses and sponsor more kids, but also to send several teams to visit them in person!
In 2018, when the children’s homes suffered damage due to flooding, they moved all 60 kids into one four-story building, where they would be safe from future flooding. While many of those children have sponsors, not all do, so the money that comes in each month is being stretched to provide house parents, food, clothing, education and housing for all 60 children.
