CREEKSIDE BAPTISM & LAKE DAY
Saturday, August 9 | 9:30 – 12 | BAPTISMS @ 10 AM
Location: Black Miner's Bar in Folsom
Baptism is a sacred and joyful step in the life of a follower of Jesus. It's a public declaration of faith—an outward sign of an inward reality. In going under the water and rising again, we proclaim the death of our old life and the beginning of our new life in Christ. At Creekside, we celebrate baptism as a meaningful act of obedience and testimony. It’s a way of saying to the world, “I belong to Jesus—and I’m all in.”
Whether you’re taking that step yourself or coming to cheer on and pray for those who are, we’d love for you to join us. After the baptisms, stick around to enjoy the rest of the morning together—bring a picnic lunch, a towel or chair, and plan to hang out at the beach.
We'll meet at the day-use area of Black Miner's Bar in Folsom, which offers covered pavilions, shade trees, and nearby bathrooms. It’s a great space for both celebration and laid-back summer connection.
• Beach and swimming at 9:30 AM
• Baptism celebration at 10:00 AM
• $10/vehicle upon entry (all payments accepted)
• Bring beach gear and picnic lunch — Plan to stay and hang out!
If you or your child are interested in being baptized, one of our pastors would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have! Reach out through the link below.
