In 2017, Aram and Melissa moved to Portland, Oregon where they served at Citizens Church and are now serving with Bread & Wine Church starting missional communities in the city while Aram attends seminary. The Babasin family recognize Portland as a place where the harvest is plenty but the workers are few and are very much looking forward to serving as missionaries to a lost world.
The Cosgrove family have been in Mexico since 2016, where they are serving alongside Mexican pastors and church leaders through Yugo Ministries. They are equipping and empowering pastors and missionary staff to reach the local people. We invite you to partner with their ministry through prayer and and financial support. They are currently at 82% of their monthly support goal.
In 2015, Matt and Sarah Moore were called to plant Hope Church in the Oak Park area of Sacramento. Two Creekside families went with them. The dream of Hope is that God is undeniably seen in people's lives, that God is uniting a diverse group of people into a family marked by love and that God is radically loving broken people by making them a beautiful part of His story. Their vision from the start (and continues to be) to be with God, to live as family and to love like Jesus. We invite you to support them by praying for them, giving financially or even to visit their church if you are in the area.
Ben and Christina Price are now on mission full-time with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). They recently moved to Sacramento where Ben is reporting to a team with over 10 campuses and 160,000 college students and working to launch on new campuses. Christina works on CRU's National Conference team (NCO) team where she helps plan and run large conferences for both staff and students. Her team also ensures that all staff placed on college campuses in California, Hawaii and Arizona are supplied and equipped with everything they need to do their ministry. They invite you to support their fund raising efforts. They are currently at 70%.
In 2013 Clint and Haley Shamblin were called to plant a church in Portland, OR, where Christ and the church have long been marginal. They moved into a neighborhood comprised mostly of those who do not yet know Jesus. There, they are cultivating a missional community through personal outreach to their neighbors, with the intent of sharing the Gospel through Sunday gatherings, weekly gospel communities and discipleship cohorts. We invite you to pray for their family and the church.
By God's grace - through years of generous sacrifice-Creekside has helped rescue nearly 200 children who are now living in Children's Homes.
Under the loving care of house parents, these once-desperate children receive shelter, food, clothing, education and exposure to the Good News. Creekside sends small teams twice a year to visit the children, provide encouragement to staff and relief to house parents, and to continually invest in the homes, communities and people God has raised up to expand his kingdom.
