Session 05: The Spirit

Passage: John 14:12–31

 

Reflect:

  1. Jesus expected that his followers would do what he did and more. What are those things and how do you feel about this statement?

  2. Jesus told us to ask the Father for his empowerment. Do you find yourself asking God to help you do the works of Jesus? What would that look like?

  3. Jesus describes at least two functions of the Holy Spirit here: (a) He will accompany us in our journey and (b) he will teach us. Have you experienced these things? What are they each like? How can you foster greater interaction with the Spirit?
