O Father who sustains the birds and adorns the lilies,
Teach us to trust in your care for us. 

O Spirit who fills us with your presence and power,
Produce in us the fruits of love, joy, and peace. 

O Christ who enters our joys and our fears,
Lead us through every season of life. 

We come to you with conflicting thoughts and emotions regarding the state of technology and society. We acknowledge our need for you and our desire to live faithfully in the times you have appointed for us. May we reach out for you and be reminded that you are near.

We ask you to shepherd us in the age of artificial intelligence. Many of us are amazed at what AI can help us create. At the same time, many of us are afraid of what AI could potentially destroy. We offer our anxious hearts to you and ask for your protection, wisdom, and providential care. 

Lord, in your mercy…

We ask you to care for our nation as we approach another election. We thank you for the freedom to participate in our country’s political systems. We pray for your will to be done in these elections and in our nation as a whole. Help us to place our hope not in political movements but in the good news of your power and love.

We pray for those who are feeling the impact of continued inflation. Give wisdom to our leaders and care especially for the most vulnerable members of our society and our congregation. Train our hearts to value the ways of your kingdom above material comforts, and empower us to help those in need.

We thank you for the work the Cosgroves are doing in Mexico as they empower local pastors to bless and care for their congregations and communities. Provide for their financial needs, equip the church to embody your gospel, and bring transformation to your children in Mexico. 

Lord, in your grace…
Hear our prayer. 

We pray for the members of our church family who are grieving, ill, aging, and in need. We ask you to be a loving father for your children and to empower us as a church family to care well for our brothers and sisters. Fill our church body with love and grace.

Lord, in your love…
Hear our prayer. 

In all things we offer ourselves to you and ask that you make us more attentive to who you are, to what you’re doing within us, and to how you’re working around us. Empower us to boldly follow the Spirit’s leading.
