March 2026
O Christ who calmed the storm with a word,
Make our hearts responsive to every word you speak.
O Spirit who moves as a mighty wind,
Carry us according to your will.
O Father who spoke to Job from the whirlwind amid his suffering,
Direct our souls in all their turmoil always to you.
As war continues in Israel and Palestine, in Ukraine and Russia, and now in Iran, we pray for your mercy. Lord, preserve life, care for your children around the world, calm our anxious hearts.
Lord, have mercy.
As debate and conflict continue over immigration policies and enforcement, we ask you for grace. May our hearts remain soft to those in need and may we view our opponents with love. Grant peace and provision to those who are displaced.
Lord, have mercy.
As the Supreme Court tries cases that bear on our religious liberties, we pray for those who lead our nation. Grant them wisdom and enable us to follow you faithfully in our daily lives.
Lord, hear our prayer.
As the cost of living rises, we ask that you meet our needs and shepherd our hearts. We pray for provision, especially for those with the least margin, especially for those going without. We ask you to shape our fearful hearts. Relieve us of our love of money and deepen our trust in you. Empower us to help those you place in our path.
Lord, hear our prayer.
We praise you for the unique way you have been moving in our church family. You have drawn us deeper into prayer, cultivated vulnerability, and fueled our service.
To God be the glory.
In all things we offer ourselves to you and ask that you make us more attentive to who you are, to what you’re doing within us, and to how you’re working around us. Empower us to boldly follow the Spirit’s leading.
Amen.
