July 2026
O Spirit who leads us to one another and to yourself,
Bind us together in love.
O Father who invites us all to sit at the table with you,
Allow us to know your love and to experience your joyful presence.
O Christ who reconciles us to yourself and to each other,
Make us into a Temple for your Spirit.
We come to you in need of grace and true community. We long to know and be known, yet we confess our struggle to hold meaningful relationships. We come to you as the one who holds all things and all people together.
We pray for Iran, where diplomacy has struggled and conflict continues to cause death. We pray also for Ukraine, Gaza, and the West Bank where people bearing your image are in need of humanitarian aid and are trying to live their lives in war zones. We ask you to bring peace, to have mercy, and to care for your children in every nation.
Lord, in your mercy…
Hear our prayer.
We pray for those affected by wildfires during the dry season. We ask you to care for those who are at risk. We thank you for the firefighters who are always ready to protect our communities. Keep them safe and make them effective.
Lord, in your mercy…
Hear our prayer.
As our nation continues to react to immigration policies and enforcement, including protests and even deaths, we ask for your wisdom and mercy. Guide our lawmakers, care for the vulnerable, and shape us according to the values of your kingdom.
Lord, in your mercy…
Hear our prayer.
We pray for those members of our church family who have recently lost someone they love. We pray also for those who mark anniversaries of loss. We ask you to embrace those who mourn and direct our love ultimately to you.
Lord, in your love…
Hear our prayer.
We thank you for the joy we experience in our homes, in our church, and in our relationship with you. Shape us into a joyful community, even when we walk through difficult seasons.
Lord, in your kindness…
Hear our prayer.
We ask you to draw us in as individuals and bind us together in community. Help us to be present to each other, overcome our insecurities and fears, and make us one as you are one.
Lord, in your love…
Hear our prayer.
In all things we offer ourselves to you and ask that you make us more attentive to who you are, to what you’re doing within us, and to how you’re working around us. Empower us to boldly follow the Spirit’s leading.
Amen.
